I interrupt this hiatus to bring you...

An UPDATE!! Get ready... here we go!
School time with dad- buoyancy and density. Math lessons as well as a density tower today consisting of honey, soy sauce, oil and rubbing alcohol. An educational website tool is in the works... and someday in the near future I will share that link. D hopes to create tools for the kids to learn as we homeschool.

Someone has bangs. It was long overdue. Grateful for online hair cutting tutorials. I think I'll be ready next time for sure.

Someone got to actually use paint for once. And she was a happy camper.

Since all 3 are sleeping in the same room... it was time for something different. Many thanks to our neighbor who let L and I scavenge through their construction waste. We found lots of great boards. 3 trailer loads full! And to our other neighbor who shared her leftover gray paint. Well since I'm thanking peeps... then I had better thank D for muscling it together. hehe... I always pull him in... I start the project and he watches me struggle... then steps in and gets it done just like that!

Another generous neighbor. I think we have 6 gallons of apples sauce. Good thing the kids like applesauce.

Aunt K blessed us with her presence for almost 2 wks! A highlight.

I have quite the little artist on my hands. I am doing my best not to get in her way and let her create.

A bike upgrade and training wheels project. E and D worked all afternoon getting those training wheels assembled from scratch and attached. And that made this little girl happy to have her own set of wheels now. And she cruises!

A table for 3!

A new book... "Can I have a look?"

She saw "Frozen" this summer. It changed her life. Her imagination has gone wild. Cars to E is what Frozen is to L. Her life was a musical for the first 2 weeks after seeing it. Now we've down graded to just being the "ice queen".

The flowers have been lovely this summer and are still hanging on even now.

They worked really hard one day. All afternoon and earned quite a bit of money for this task. D asked them how they'd like to spend their money. Dinner and a movie. So off to China buffet and the movies "Planes".

A new addition to the fort. However that fort is no longer... and a new one has been constructed. No pictures yet. It's taken me 2 months to get you this update. :)

Watching storms pass, and no longer worry about my roof leaking. :)

Took pictures for a talented friend of mine one afternoon. You can check out her etsy shop here: TATally Awesome. There soon will be pictures of her daughter's awesome mobile creations too!

The web assembled.

Frequent trips to check out the progress on the road for the new lot. Wondering when this dream will become reality.

Celebrated my dear aunt's 50th with lots of Aggravation.

My first encounter with a deer. I thank God for taking care of me. He sent these two angels in hard hats to take care of the van.

And the reason why I've been so quiet on this blog. That is shipping container. I've answered the call to be the branch manager for a non-profit Christian humanitarian aid organization called Orphan Grain Train. That's a lot of words huh? I hope to have updates to our Branch website soon. ND OGT Branch. In the meantime you can read about where the branch was located and what they were up to. Lots of my time has been given to moving this Branch here from another location in ND. My brain has hurt a lot with all that I am learning. But in the midst of it all I see God's hand... and that gives me peace.

Phew! Well there you go... for a while. :)
