Day Three

Amidst everything else going on... I got some space cleared for a few pictures. :)
Today was a day! Very much a group effort. D, G'pa R and I for the most part outside. And G'ma R is on kid and food duty. She has been fantastic! It's so fun for me to be apart of something else and not stuck inside with the kids. And that enthusiasm is helpful when unloading 1400lbs of construction material all by myself. For the record- the payload driver had mercy on me and helped me out at the end when I had 1/3 of that left.
D started at 5:30a clearing that side of the roof. D spent all day up there. He has done such a great job and pushed through lots of trick spots. We took 1.5 hr break to run errands in town. I grocery shopped and got gas. He got supplies and stopped in at work briefly- enough to get at least 1/2 a day off so we can push ahead. G'pa R and I teamed up on measuring and cutting- although in the end he did the cutting and truly all the math. I just couldn't do the angle cuts through the ridges. My hand muscles were wearing out. And my brain was equally mush. But I was the gopher to help expedite the process.
And we had extra helping hands show up all day long. Grace who entertained the kids for most of the day. She was a huge blessing and so helpful. And the kids were so thrilled to have her too!
Another beautiful forecast for tomorrow. Neighbors came at night to help lift the long pieces at night. That was a relief. We did the other side ourselves... and that was a bit tricky. But we did it!
