Our first set of seedlings have burst through. Kids were pretty excited. And when we were outside today exploring, we found more plants getting ready to spring up too. Even found some peonies I had thrown in the compost pile budding. Those were rescued and planted.
Still don't have my greenhouse set up, but the milk carton jugs are doing well right now.
Stats for the first springish day: 2 pairs of boots soaked through, 4 sets of pants, 3 pairs of socks, one long meander to the river and back, 1 round of catch and batting practice, rules repeated twice about not going into the muddy garden, 3 piles of cat poo properly identified and successfully avoided.
