So that was yesterday, and this is today...

And today was not like yesterday, in anyway. Sigh. But that is the way it goes.
Couldn't keep my head ahead of all that was unfolding.
One big variable is this little gal.

She so wants to be like her older brother and sister. She mimics them in so many ways. But she just can't do everything they do. She doesn't understand taking turns. It's her turn... all the time. She can't say words to tell them that she does understand... or what she wants... doesn't want.
And she is vocal, pushy. It can be endearing... and then again not.
She is a quick learner... which is cool and not cool at the same time. Especially when it comes to figuring out how to climb, open marker caps, open the toilet seat, open cupboards, open drawers, climb up to restricted places and retrieve the forbidden item.

One of those things she wants to do- use the toilet. When L started her training, I'd find her in there playing with L's sticker chart. Usually it was pulling them off and eating them. :) Well after L finished, Ev started wanting to sit on it too. It seemed like all the time there for a while. However, I figured out- just after she pees/poos in her diaper, then she goes to toilet. She proceeds to open it, try to get the potty seat on it and calls out for me to help. So numerous times a day- in the middle of whatever I was doing- I go help her so she can sit here and look absolutely adorable. If I have time, we sit and converse. There are so many times where I've wanted to tell her no- cause you've already done what you're going to do in your diaper! And I have sometimes. But I'm trying hard to not go there and instead to go with this in hopes that she'll figure out when to use the toilet sooner than later.
