Thought it would be a good idea to tell you about her big brother.

Everyone asks how she is and then asks how he is adjusting. Well it's kind of hard to tell just yet... and that is because we've had help around for the past 3 weeks... so he hasn't been neglected one bit... just ask his grandma's, cousins, and aunt! He soaked up all the attention he could get from them... which I'm very grateful for. From when he gets up to when he goes to bed he is on the go... and wants you to go with him.

He thoroughly enjoys going outside and even made up his own sign to tell you he wants to go outside.

A bonus for him is all the dad time he's gotten. I am so thankful for the summer schedule where D really can be home more often. All the early morning shifts he's taken with Elijah... and the late night shifts with Lydia... he's awesome. I keep thanking God that I am not a single mother. I wouldn't make it. The one picture that I really need to get on here is the bike trailer that D has made to take him on bike rides. It's pretty sweet... still needs some tweeking, but from what I hear Elijah enjoys it. They've been doing all kinds of fun things together... bike rides, actually "riding" a little mini-bike (D put a bungy on the front and pulls him as his legs move with the pedals), swinging, working on the bus, exploring town on early morning walks (I forgot to mention that he likes to get up early! 6am sometimes!), pool time, being out in the rain... and more that I don't even know about I'm sure.

It's crazy how fast he grew up as soon as she got here.. it is probably just having her here to compare him too that makes him seem so grown up.

I'd say for the most part, he does like her... and is adjusting well to all the newness. One neat thing is that he insists on seeing her several times a day, giving a big hug and slobery kiss... neither of which she really appreciates just yet. :)

We did a little photo shoot yesterday... since we have nothing else to do right now. Our friend Heidi in town crochets these adorable little things... you can check out her goods here: Crafting Adventures with Heidi and Sarah
Here are a few of my favorites I got yesterday of Lydia.
